299 QRC is a refurbished commercial tower located along Queen’s Road Central in Sheung Wan. Originally completed in the 1980s, the building underwent a full revitalisation in 2017, upgrading its entrance façade, lobby, core systems and interiors to meet contemporary commercial standards while preserving its efficient mid-rise scale.
The new design introduces a clean, minimal street presence with a refined material palette, updated signage, and a reconfigured front entrance. The reception lobby is finished in natural stone and timber textures, with integrated lighting and streamlined concierge facilities that establish a professional and welcoming tone.
Interior fit-outs support flexible workspace planning, with open floorplates, exposed soffit ceilings, suspended lighting and generous glazing that maximises daylight penetration. Finishes are neutral and durable, allowing tenants to adapt layouts for office, studio or shared use. MEP systems and acoustic performance were enhanced as part of the refurbishment, delivering both operational efficiency and user comfort.
The project reflects a pragmatic, design-led approach to urban renewal—retaining structural value while elevating the building’s presence and performance within Hong Kong’s evolving commercial landscape.
